NewSpring Capital Expands Footprint To Chicago With The Addition Of Kristin Lee

RADNOR, PA - September 8, 2014 - NewSpring Capital, a family of private equity funds providing growth and expansion capital, announced today that Kristin Lee has joined the NewSpring Capital team as a Principal of NewSpring Mezzanine Capital, the dedicated mezzanine strategy of NewSpring Capital.  Kristin will be based in NewSpring Capital's newly opened offices in Chicago where she will enhance the firm's already growing presence in the Midwest.  

Kristin brings over 15 years of lower middle-market experience to NewSpring.  Prior to NewSpring, Kristin was a Director at Midwest Mezzanine Funds where she was responsible for structuring, underwriting, and managing subordinated debt and equity investments in lower middle-market companies across a range of industries.  Kristin began her professional career with Houlihan Lokey where she was involved in mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy restructurings and financial advisory engagements.  Kristin earned her M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa.
