Business Development Analyst, Holdings Strategy

Overview

NewSpring Capital is seeking a Business Development Analyst to join our Holdings Strategy. As a Business Development Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and developing open dialogue with Executives at companies that are identified as potential investment opportunities for Holdings.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with Holdings Strategy to map out target companies as well as conduct market research
  • Design and execute outreach strategy through various channels
  • Manage and drive strategic M&A opportunities for existing platform companies
  • Expand NewSpring Holdings relationship network with key industry contacts
  • Attend relevant conferences and networking events
  • Update and manage internal tracking software (salesforce)
  • Performing other duties as assigned


Qualifications

      • 1-2 years of work experience in a related position such as sales, marketing, business development, or recruiting. Recent graduates with a strong internship experience will also be considered
      • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
      • Highly driven by success and metrics. Does not get discouraged by hearing “No”
      • Exceptional problem-solving skills with the desire to always go one step further to find the answer
      • Team player who is always willing to step in when needed and be a part of our tight knit culture
      • Detail oriented with a propensity for continuous improvement and learning from experiences
      • Strong work ethic, ability to be proactive and responsive in high-pressure situations
      • Record of strong academic performance from a leading undergraduate institution
      • Fluent in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
