Satya Ponnuru

Satya Ponnuru is a General Partner of NewSpring and is a General Partner of NewSpring Franchise, the Firm’s strategy focused on investing in innovative franchise and multi-unit concepts. Satya co-founded NewSpring Franchise in 2019 with over 15 years of experience in sourcing, investment execution and oversight in the lower-middle-market.

Prior to joining NewSpring, Satya was a Partner at Larsen MacColl Partners, where he was responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation. Previously, he was a member of the investment teams at KPS Capital Partners and Balfour Partners where he focused on the manufacturing and industrial sectors and worked directly with portfolio companies to generate growth.

Satya received a BS in Finance from Tulane University and a Masters of Accounting from the A. B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University.
