Innovid Goes Public
NewSpring Growth portfolio company Innovid, a global leader in television advertising delivery and measurement, recently announced plans to become publicly listed at an implied $1.3 billion valuation via a merger with ION Acquisition Corp. Innovid has emerged as one of the largest independent advertising platforms in the world, and this step marks an important growth milestone in the company’s 14-year history.
NuOrder to be Acquired by Lightspeed
NewSpring portfolio company NuOrder, a leading cloud and mobile B2B ecommerce solution for brands and retailers, recently announced it will be acquired by Lightspeed, a one-stop commerce platform and point-of-sale technology provider for retailers, restaurants, and more, in a $425 million deal. Together, these two companies will help elevate brands and retailers as ecommerce continues to grow in importance in a post-COVID-19 economy.
NewSpring Exits Archer
In June, NewSpring Growth announced its exit of Archer, a technology-enabled service provider for the asset management industry. Over the course of NewSpring’s investment, Archer has grown into an industry leader in helping investment managers streamline operations and enable growth through new product innovation and cost management.
Exegy Merges with Vela Trading Systems
NewSpring portfolio company Exegy, a low-latency solutions provider of global financial market data and technology, recently announced it will merge with Vela Trading Systems LLC, a leading provider of data and trading execution technology. The combined company creates the industry’s top provider of premier data and execution platforms and managed services for electronic securities trading.
Invoca Acquires DialogTech
NewSpring portfolio company Invoca has acquired DialogTech, an AI-powered call tracking and analytics solution for marketers. With this acquisition, Invoca now becomes the #1 conversation intelligence platform on the market with more than $100 million in revenue, 2,000+ customers, and over 300 employees.
Star2Star Acquired by Sangoma
NewSpring portfolio company Star2Star Communications LLC recently announced it was acquired by Sangoma Technologies Corporation in a $437 million deal. In exchange for its position in Star2Star, NewSpring received a combination of cash and public stock of Sangoma. As the company continues to grow following its new partnership with Star2Star, NewSpring’s ownership of Sangoma stock will provide the Firm with opportunities to return capital to its shareholders.
SparkPost to be Acquired by MessageBird
NewSpring Growth portfolio company SparkPost, the world’s leading email sending and deliverability platform, announced earlier this year that it will be acquired by MessageBird in a $600 million deal. SparkPost’s ability to send over 5 trillion emails per year as well as its strong position in the U.S. market were major driving forces behind the transaction.
Arrive and FlashParking Merge
NewSpring portfolio company Arrive has merged with FlashParking. The combination will create the operating system for the new way to manage mobility, enabling parking companies to better prepare for the changing office and consumer landscape and thrive in an all-digital world.
NewSpring Invests in Deposco
In March, NewSpring Growth invested in Deposco, a leading provider of cloud-based omnichannel fulfillment software solutions. Deposco will use the proceeds of this investment to accelerate development efforts to broaden and deepen its suite of unified commerce solutions and expand its presence in established and new international markets.
