Abby Jansen

Abby Jansen is an Analyst at NewSpring where she is responsible for all phases throughout the lifecycle of a deal with the Firm’s dedicated Mezzanine strategy. Having joined NewSpring in 2025, she is responsible for new deal sourcing, underwriting, modeling, industry research, detailed due diligence, execution, and ongoing operational support to the portfolio companies.

Prior to joining NewSpring full-time, Abby interned with the Firm’s Mezzanine and Holdings strategies as a summer analyst on the deal team. While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she also served as a venture intern at CAV Angels, where she gained hands-on experience in investment communications and helped launch the organization’s first student-athlete internship program.

Abby received a BA from the University of Virginia, majoring in Statistics with a concentration in Finance and Business.
