Bharat Santhanam

Bharat Santhanam is a Principal at NewSpring with the Firm’s dedicated growth fund and joined NewSpring in 2019. At NewSpring, Bharat is responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation.

Previously, he worked as an Investment Banking Associate at J.P. Morgan where he was responsible for advising on engagements across a variety of transaction types including M&A, leveraged buyouts, minority investments, spin-offs, and debt and equity financings.

Prior to J.P. Morgan, Bharat was a Consultant with Deloitte and a Senior Consultant with BTS, where he was responsible for strategy development and strategy execution.

Bharat received a BSBA in Finance and Accounting from the Questrom School of Business at Boston University and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
