Drew Scannell

Drew Scannell is a Principal at NewSpring with the Firm’s dedicated mezzanine strategy, and joined the Firm in 2015. At NewSpring, Drew is responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation.

Previously, he was with Baker Tilly Capital, a Philadelphia-based investment banking and corporate finance advisory firm where he was responsible for financial analysis as well as drafting pitch books, confidential information memoranda, management presentations, and valuation reports for sell-side investment banking engagements, buy-side advisory, and corporate planning.

Prior to Baker Tilly Capital, Drew was with Hempstead & Co, LLC, a boutique business valuation and corporate finance advisory firm where he performed financial analysis and prepared business valuation reports for estate and gift planning, fairness opinions, financial reporting, litigation support, and corporate planning.

Drew received a BA from Bucknell University in Economics and Spanish.
