Jeff Nugent

Jeff Nugent is an Analyst at NewSpring where he is responsible for all phases throughout the lifecycle of a deal with the Firm's dedicated mezzanine strategy. Having joined NewSpring in 2025, he is responsible for new deal sourcing, underwriting, modeling, industry research, detailed due diligence, execution, and ongoing operational support to the portfolio companies.

Prior to joining NewSpring, Jeff was an Investment Banking Analyst with Boxwood Partners where he worked on a variety of lower middle market franchise deals doing financial modeling, marketing materials preparation, marketing outreach, and market screening.

Jeff received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Richmond.
