Kristin Lee

Kristin Lee joined NewSpring in 2014 and is a Partner of NewSpring’s dedicated mezzanine strategy.

Prior to NewSpring, Kristin was with Midwest Mezzanine Funds for 12 years. At Midwest, Kristin was actively involved in the structuring, underwriting, and management of mezzanine and equity investments for Midwest Mezzanine Funds III and IV.

In addition, she held board seats on two portfolio companies and held observation seats on two additional portfolio companies. Prior to Midwest, she worked in investment banking with Houlihan, Lokey, and Zukin where she was involved in mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy restructurings, and financial advisory engagements. She worked with middle market companies across a range of industries including consumer products, industrials, and healthcare.

Kristin received a BBA in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
