Larry Berran

Larry Berran is an Operating Partner for NewSpring's dedicated growth equity funds. He provides Executive Chair and Non-Executive Board Director services for a number of technology companies, leveraging his experience in profitably growing companies. Larry is currently the Executive Chairman of NewSpring Growth ("NSG") portfolio companies CallMiner and HomeSource Systems. He is also a non-executive Director of InvestorLink. Larry was also a board member of another former NSG portfolio company, TrialScope.

Prior to these roles, Larry was CEO of NSG former portfolio company iPipeline, a leading SaaS platform in the life insurance vertical in the United States, United Kingdom, and Canada, from 2002 to 2022, until it’s successful sale to Roper Technologies (NASDAQ: ROP). From 1997 to 2002, he worked at Safeguard Scientifics, then Internet Capital Group (a Safeguard partner company). From 1993 to 1997, he was a Certified Public Accountant at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC).

Larry has a B.S. from LaSalle University and is currently enrolled in the CPO program at the Kellogg Business School at Northwestern University.
