Pete Buzy

Pete Buzy is an Advisory Partner for NewSpring's dedicated healthcare strategy. Pete has over 25 years of successful executive management experience.

Prior to joining NewSpring Pete was the Chairman of Gene Therapy at Catalent, Inc. for two years, served as President & Chief Executive Officer of Paragon for five years, and spent over 13 years as a senior executive at Martek Biosciences Corporation. Pete also spent time at Ernst & Young, where he was a Partner in the Northern Virginia High Technology and Life Science Practice.

Additionally, Pete actively serves on the Board of Deka Biosciences, and recently served on the Board and Executive Committees of the Technology Council of Maryland. Pete earned his BBA in accounting from Salisbury University in Maryland.
