Zentech Awarded ACG Maryland Deal of the Year Award

NewSpring Capital is proud to announce that it’s portfolio company, Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. was awarded Deal of the Year by ACG Maryland. Zentech was awarded the prestigious Deal of the Year Award on Thursday, November 8, 2012 at the Deal of the Year Gala before influential leaders in corporate development, private equity, investment banking and other corporate professionals.
The Deal of the Year Award recognizes and honors business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, financings, alliances and IPOs, that have impacted the Maryland region, and highlights those companies and individuals who were successful in their pursuit of corporate growth through such activity between June 1, 2011 and May 31, 2012.
Zentech Manufacturing, Inc. located in Baltimore, MD is an electronics contract manufacturer and engineering design services company offering printed circuit board assembly, testing, and design. Zentech services the aerospace & defense, medical, communications, industrial & instrumentation industries primarily in the U.S. Mid-Atlantic states.
NewSpring Capital partnered with the President of Zentech, Matt Turpin, to acquire the company from its founding owners. NewSpring Capital was pleased to work with Core Taylor Business Credit who provided the senior credit facility as part of this transaction.
