NewSpring Capital Successfully Exits eXelate

RADNOR, PA - March 5, 2015 - NewSpring Capital ("NewSpring") is pleased to announce that it has successfully exited eXelate, Inc. ("eXelate"), a portfolio company of its dedicated growth and expansion stage fund, and the first exit for NewSpring Growth Capital's third growth equity fund, NewSpring Growth Capital III, L.P. The exit was a result of the purchase of the Company by Nielsen N.V. (NYSE:NLSN or "Nielsen").
Since NewSpring's initial investment in 2012, eXelate has grown significantly by expanding its geographic footprint, increasing its product offerings and deepening its relationship with customers. Management has built the Company into a leadership position in the fast growing, ever changing digital ad landscape. This impressive performance attracted interest from several strategic buyers and eventually led to the Company's decision to sell to Nielsen, generating a strong outcome for NewSpring's investors.
