Bruce Downey

Bruce Downey is a Partner for NewSpring’s dedicated healthcare funds. Bruce has over 35 years of legal, corporate management, and development experience.

Previously, Bruce was Chairman and CEO of Barr Pharmaceuticals, Inc. He was also former Director at Warner Chilcott Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and former Chair at Generic Pharmaceutical Association. Bruce has also held positions at the U.S. Department of Justice and Department of Energy.

Bruce received a BA from Miami University and a JD from The Ohio State University.
