Caio Azevedo

Caio is an Associate at NewSpring dedicated to the Firm's buyout strategy, NewSpring Holdings. Having joined NewSpring in 2023, he is responsible for underwriting and diligence for new investment opportunities.

Prior to NewSpring, Caio was an Investment Banking Associate at Citigroup’s Financial Sponsors Group in New York, where he advised private equity firms on M&A transactions. Prior to Citigroup, Caio was a Portfolio Management Associate at FS Investments where he was responsible for operations and strategy for the firm’s credit opportunities credit fund.

Caio received his MBA from The Wharton School and holds a BS in Finance from Penn State.
