Kirk Clark

Kirk Clark is a Vice President at NewSpring with the Firm’s dedicated mezzanine strategy and joined the Firm in 2020. At NewSpring, Kirk is responsible for all stages of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, execution, and portfolio value creation.

Previously, he was a Private Equity Associate at Bayou City Energy Management where he was responsible for creating financial models, performing due diligence, executing transactions, and monitoring portfolio companies across three private equity funds specifically focused on the upstream oil and gas sector.

Prior to Bayou City Energy Management, Kirk was an Investment Banking Analyst at Canaccord Genuity, Inc. where he worked on various capital markets and advisory transactions within the upstream oil and gas sector, including equity private placements, public equity and debt issuances, reverse mergers, and asset acquisitions and divestitures.

Kirk received a BS in Economics and a BSBA in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Millsaps College.
